Welcome to Corio Bay Rowing Club |
|
Situated on the banks of the Barwon River near the centre of Geelong, Corio Bay Rowing Club is a family club that caters for all areas of rowing. Our youngest members are our coxswains through to our exceptional 82 year old Jack Horton who still rows, coaches, coxes and you can still hear the resounding calls from afar. We offer a range of rowing alternatives, from the Learn to Row course, through Beginner, Novice, Intermediate and Masters levels of training and competition. We have strong representation in our school, junior, youth and senior programs with representatives in the Australian youth squad and many state representatives. The masters are growing stronger every day and are always able to compete successfully at an Australian level, always able to bring home the gold. If competition is not what you are looking for, we run a social program that encourages people to enjoy their rowing and keep fit in a more relaxed and social environment. Enjoy coffee, cake and a good chat after a leisurely paddle. Corio Bay Rowing Club is a friendly 'family club with a rowing problem'. |
