Notes
Unless otherwise reserved for an event as given above:
Kayakers, canoeists, dragon-boaters and rowers can use the river from Queens Park bridge through to Landy Field, at any time.
The Barwon Valley Water Ski Club has full use of the river every Sunday from noon to Sunset.
Any boat or watercraft on the river in the dark requires appropriate boat lights.
N.b. boat lights must be affixed to the boat, and not to the canoeist, kayaker, rower etc, and require a light on each of the stern and the bow.
The river set-up for most rowing regattas (i.e. course lane buoys) occurs mid week prior to regatta (and earlier for the HoSG) .
Full River Closure means that the river is closed for that event all the way from Queens Park Bridge through to Breakwater
